About Us - Fairfax County Dead Animal Experts

Fairfax County dead animal

I have a really good nose! Sure, there's various dead-animal location technology, such as FLIR heat-detection devices that can detect decaying bodies (which are warmer) or corpse-sniffing dogs, but these things aren't always helpful. A lot of animals die in attics, where a dog doesn't help, or ductwork or other places where you can't see heat. The best technology is my nose and my experience! My nose is so good that I can usually detect the species of animal just by the smell! I know animal behavior and architecture so well that I have an excellent instinct about where the carcass lies.

Hi there! We’re Fairfax County Dead Animal, a company that specialises in the control and removal of live and dead animals from business and domestic properties in Virginia. We are the leading experts in locating hard-to-find dead animals, with no job too big or small for us to take on. Our technicians are trained to the highest level in each animal that you are likely to encounter in your home, including bats, birds, rats, mice, snakes, skunks, opossums, raccoons, and many more. They carry a wide array of state-of-the-art tools and equipment, too – all of which help to diagnose and solve the problem in as quick a time as possible. We know that the disruption a dead wild critter causes, from smell to the growth of black mould from excess moisture, and even biological concerns that could be potentially very dangerous for the household or workforce – and that’s why we make it our mission to make the process simple and quick. It starts with an inspection, before location and removal is carried out. Repairs and restorations come after that, along with decontamination and sanitation; and preventative measures are installed to prevent future intrusions. Carcasses are cremated and always handled in a safe, legal and respectful way. We can also offer you a cremation service for your beloved pet.
